Next week, we'll be beginning a new writing unit, learning about the opinion genre. We will spend the next month or so writing reviews. In order to get started, each child needs to bring a small collection of similar items from home. Thanks to those of you who have already sent their in!
The collection needs to include only about five to seven items and should fit in a labeled shoebox or bag . Some examples might be hairbands, lego guys, stickers, small plastic toys, etc. The collections will stay at school for a couple of weeks and will be used every day for our writing unit. Please have your child bring theirs to school by next Monday, January 26th. Thank you!
